Dr. Gary Dalley received his Medical degree from Wake Forest University and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of North Carolina, one of the top training programs in the country. He has over 20 years of clinical experience treating adults with Diabetes, Hypertension, High Cholesterol and many other conditions, and specializes in the care of patients with multiple medical problems. He has become particularly adept at helping patients navigate the too often bewildering waters of diagnostic treatment options that confront us all when medical problems arise. Dr. Dalley has developed a keen appreciation for what really makes sense for the individual patient, and he views and respects consensus guidelines from government and medical experts for what they are – guidelines only. Each patient ultimately requires treatment as individualized as they are.
Dr. Dalley received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis and subsequently served in the Navy for 5 years as a Surface Warfare Officer. Prior to attending Med School, he worked in private industry for three years as a Software Engineer specializing in the development of expert systems and artificial intelligence.
Dr. Dalley has applied his unique background in leadership and computer experience to his practice of medicine and has always been an early adopter of Electronic Medical Records, health care information systems and new ways to use technology to enhance the medical care of his patients. He is a past Chief of Staff at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, and Co-founder of the Braselton Clinic in Braselton Georgia.
He is married and the father of two children who tax all his leadership and psychology skills. He enjoys reading almost everything, recently becoming a student of Healthcare reform, and enjoys regular running and swimming with an eternal intention to return to triathlon competition.
